About the event

Engaging with our own mortality is thought to help death seem less frightening and mysterious – and it may even help us lead more meaningful lives. Could it also support us to confront the climate and nature crisis by breaking down the fear that can get in the way? Facilitator Charlotte Haigh, an experienced death cafe facilitator, end-of-life coach and funeral guide/celebrant, will present this idea briefly. Then we'll have an informal, death cafe-style discussion. It will probably be a lot more uplifting that it sounds – these sorts of discussions usually are! But please do be aware there'll be some frank talk about death and dying, so make sure this is OK for you.
