Hive Futures Group on Food Security

In this session we'll be working on how to prepare for when food becomes less readily available and so more expensive.

We believe there is some significant possibility that UK society will experience a variety of shocks in the next few years; as a result of climate change and all the other environmental damage we're causing, declining growth as a result of the decreasing energy bounty we get from fossil fuels, and because of the impact that AI & social media have on democratic decision making by encouraging polarisation.

And so of course we should be thinking and planning, so we can start preparing now.

But that doesn't, and won't mean, we stop campaigning, protesting and using non-violent direct action. We know we must do both.
