As we face the cost of living crisis and the climate and ecological emergency, do community groups hold the answer? In the first installment of our speaker series, Natalie Bennett will discuss the vital role grassroots local groups can play. She will argue community groups can bring about a new type of democracy, supporting and strengthening campaigns in parliament that aim to deal with our current crises.
About Natalie
Natalie was leader of the Green Party from 2012 – 2016, taking part in the televised debates for the 2015 election – that year, the Green Party won over 1 million votes. In 2019, Natalie was introduced as the second Green peer in the House of Lords, joining Baroness Jenny Jones.
