"Taste Palette" is supported by Greater London Authority Hong Kong Fund. We invite HKer food businesses to bring their products for participants to taste and to share their startup journey. Facilitated by artist Carmen, everyone will use the food/drinks as an inspiration to create illustration.

About the event
Do you miss the food from Hong Kong or are new to the diverse HK food culture and curious to try something new? We are running 5 sessions of "Taste Palette" Food & Illustration Workshop between October and December 2025. For each session, we will invite a food business run by HKers to bring their products for participants to taste and to share their startup journey. Facilitated by artist @carmenyiu_ , everyone will then use the food/ drinks as an inspiration to create illustration. We will then gather everyone's work and compose them into a poster and a zine, which will be printed and displayed in different public spaces, such as community centres and food businesses. Participants will be able to collect their work and receive a zine for free at the end of the project.
