The Kingston Hive Charitable Objectives and Activities

1. To benefit the residents of the borough of Kingston upon Thames, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or political, religious or other opinions, by bringing together the said residents, Kingston council, and local voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to educate about and respond actively to the climate and ecological crisis and advance environmental sustainability in Kingston.
To establish a community centre in Kingston and to maintain or manage or co-operate with any statutory authority or landlord in the maintenance and management of such a centre for activities promoted by the charity in furtherance of the above objects: in particular by creating:
 

• A hub for information, advice, talks, workshops on environmental issues

• A meeting place/café for local residents

• A place to host cultural activities on environmental issues

• Any other activity which promotes the Objects of the Charity
   

2. To promote the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment, in particular by: 

• Actively supporting environmental campaigns and activism

• Promoting biodiversity and conservation

• Any other activity which promotes the Objects of the Charity.
