About the event

Sprouting is allowing seeds to germinate and grow shoots. The shoots are healthy, tasty and can be used to enhance the flavour and textures of soups, sandwiches and salads. They are easy to make, require minimum setup and provide nutritional food throughout the year.

Microgreens can be easily grown on window sills and readily available plastic trays. Most organic seeds and beans can be used to grow microgreen. They provide greens in all seasons with very little effort and taste great.

Sauerkraut is fermented cabbage that requires very little effort to make. It is a great source of probiotic bacteria to cultivate a healthy microbiome - gut bacteria.
