The Fabric of our Society

This meeting is for local craftists, sewers and repairers.

Sewing, crafting and repairing was hugely boosted during the pandemic and during that process many of those involved crossed paths briefly but did not meet.  This gathering is an opportunity to  bring the various threads of our work together and share stories of our sewing journeys, which we know are deeply inspirational.

We imagine that the discussion will highlight the crossovers in our work and we believe it will be interesting and perhaps inspiration for an exploration of how these crossovers could be mutually beneficial and encourage us to think about the question of what could be next for Kingston sewers? There are many opportunities out there and we suspect a combined effort may produce something quite extraordinary.
